Gaming laptops are really expensive and they wear out quickly (probably because their components are overclocked). I also think that Alienware laptops are ugly and look ridiculous with all of their lights. I'm opting for a high performance laptop which isn't designed for gaming. I wanted to know if you guys thought that this laptop is a good deal:

The specs are really good and the 3200 x 1800 display is really nice.

I've just found this. While it's not as powerful as the above laptop, it's much cheaper and definitely a good deal for its specs.

If you need a laptop then accept that it doesn't play games. If you don't need a laptop then buy a desktop.

None of the laptop components are overclocked either. They aren't more likely to be overclocked than desktop parts. Also, nothing that says factory overclocked is really overclocked at all.

I also don't know how Dell has the nerve to sell a machine starting at $1,899 without a solid state drive.

Also what idiot put a touch screen in a laptop.

I have no idea, but this touchscreen nonsense really needs to stop.
