Well, I never played the original, so maybe I won't notice and just blame old school gayms.

Some fans seem to be really upset about the changes made in some of the opening levels. I saw the footage. Not having played the original, I prefer the mod version. Liberty Island is an ugly block in the original with really weird geometry. It's the sort of level where the gameplay paths have been built first and the environments second. It reminds me of what Yahtzee said about Dark Souls vs Dark Souls 2.

I don't like that they changed the music. Did they change the entirety or just the instrumentalization?

New trailer, it's actually a bit long. Can see a very clear step down in the graphix for faces/lip sync.

Projected millenialist angst with a military hardware fetish sounds neato. The whole violent/nonviolent methods affecting dialogue bosses sounds cool in theory, but I'm afraid it'll just boil down to validating whatever you do instead of picking a method in response to what you know about the character ala Alpha Protocol.
