Has anyone read Castle Waiting? I just read vol 1, will probably read vol. 2 today.

It's pretty cute, I might encourage my son to check it out.

Definetly check out Colder, Pride of Baghdad, and Wanted ( If you like that sort of thing. Pretty damn obscene, but brilliant.)

One amazing series is Locke and Key. Its written by Joe Hill, Stephen Kings son. The Cape is also worth reading, also by him.

The third Kick-ass series is coming out every month, so its as good a time to pick up the first trade paperback as any.

The Strange Talents of Luther Strode and The Legend of Luther Strode are also pretty fun reads, both from image.

As long as I'm here, the newer Hawkeye series by Matt Fraction is fantastic. I've had the first trade for a while, and the second should be coming in any day now.

Also Deva Zan by Yoshitaka Amano is beautiful. That book is so freakin' pretty.

I'm reading this amazing memoir (in the form of a graphic novel) called "A Chinese Life," by Li Kunwu. He was a communist party artist, so the artwork is his. He writes about his life during the Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution, and the post-Mao period. Really good stuff!

I'm not making it sound very good, but here's a review in the Guardian that does a better job:

The current Hawkeye series by Matt Fraction and David Aja is definitely worth checking out.
