It is interesting, I watched it a few weeks back on Film4 and lost a chunk of respect for Inception in the process, it really is the better film. Also its got a guy who looks just like Gabe Newell, what's not to like?

I watched it on film 4 as well. Lots of anime films don't get the respect they deserve. Black Swan is for all intents and purposes a remake of Perfect Blue.

I'd really like to write something similar to Ready Player One in that it draws a lot from pop culture, except more from the late 80's, 90's indie/alt rock scene than from old school TV shows and video games, with an emphasis on the whole DIY ethic contrasted with the more recent opinions on piracy and what not. It'll include quite a deal of fourth wall breaking as well.

Well, I've already written quite a bit of the first draft, but its still missing two important subplots.
