I've been going through Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. It's definitely an interesting setup, but at times it doesn't feel like there's a lot of focus.

This forum is pretty illiterate imo.

Also I've been keeping up with Twig, and it's damn great.

I'm reading all Greg Egan's books lately. I just read his short story called Luminous. Wow. He was already safely becoming one of my favorite authors but this is one of my favorite things ever. I don't know how he comes up with all these ideas, never ceases to surprise me. The last time he made such an impression on me was the first chapter of his book Diaspora, which showed how an artificial intelligence developed consciousness in some details. Every now and then he'll pull off something like that that will completely blow me away.

I'm reading When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi . It's a memoir written by a neurosurgeon who was diagnosed with stage IV cancer at the age of 36. He died while working on the book. It's sad and beautiful.

Bego you should irl read it. I was legit sitting and thinking about just mailing you a copy.

Pride & Prejudice is a pretty good book, although I get the sense it inspired the ******* with a heart of gold romantic interest trope that I find tiresome. Now I'm starting The Price of Inequality, although I started Twain's Joan of Arc but I couldn't quite get into it.

Also Twig continues to be excellent.
