I think this is my favorite thread on this whole forum.

I could just spend all day watching all these terrible reviews.

This is one of the strangest I've discovered

http://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/kick-ass-2-2013

The weirdest stuff:

Quote:
By the end of "Kick-Ass 2," Dave is redeemed by the "perfect," virginally pure, specimen that is Mindy. This betrays a further fascist motif inherent in the narrative. Throughout the film, it is unclear quite what Dave is thinking when he stares at his perfect, Aryan sidekick. The eerie sexual prompting surrounding her takes on an additional political burden. By the end, Dave is defending Mindy, the racially pure, against the unwanted attentions of the outcast portion of society. And Mindy, like a cross between a Smurf and a Valkyrie, is wreaking vengeance herself. This is post-structural fascism, with the hint of the past fueling the engine of violence. But the two kiss at the end, so it's all good, I suppose.

How is this in the "Worst Review" section. If I had $60 on hand, that review would've made me go out and buy the damn game.

Is that reviewer actually serious? It's definitely not a bad review anyway. It makes the game seem very enticing. That's the mark of a good review.

That review is sarcastic as ****. That's what makes it great, though.

"The game is so skill based that it takes skill to make the game take skill" that's my favourite part.

I can't tell if it is sarcastic. I mean, I thought "The Room" was a joke but it totally wasn't.

[quote="Gilgamesh"]"The game is so skill based that it takes skill to make the game take skill" that's my favourite part. Same

The Room?

The (perfect) grammar, spelling, and sentence structure is what makes me think it's a joke.

Same

I wouldn't be surprised if people got suckered into believing there was actual substance to that statement.

I don't think I've ever seen a review that managed to make a product seem so appealing yet say so little about it. It must be commended for that. Greg Miller can only wish he were that talented.
